It’s been a crazy couple of months over here–between work travel and road trips all over the Northeast, I don’t think I’ve been home for two weekends in a row since… January?
There was camping in really unfortunate 18 degree weather and a swanky dinner that blew me away in New York City (Prune! So excited!) because that’s how I do balance. There was also a glorious morning in Maine that I spent barefoot on the beach and clambering around all of the seaside rocks to remind me that I don’t totally have this grown-up thing quite down yet. I’m getting to know Portland, ME, and while it will never be my first Portland love, I do think the two cities would be friends. We walked from the kombucha brewery to the craft beer brewery and encountered rugby in the middle–what more do you need?
